Meplushyou processes your personal data when you use this website and / or when you provide it yourself, for example by sending this information in an email or entering it upon checkout in the Meplushyou shop.

For what purpose?

Meplushyou processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- Handling your order and payment
- To be able to email you if this is necessary to carry out our services
- To deliver goods and services to you
- When there is a legal obligation, such as data required for the tax declaration.

Special and / or sensitive personal data

The website and services of Meplushyou do not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years of age, unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we can not check if a visitor is older than 16. Meplushyou therefore advises parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that Meplushyou has collected personal information about a minor without this consent, please contact marlou@meplushyou.com and this information will be deleted.

Automated decision making

Meplushyou does not make decisions based on automated processing on matters that can have (significant) consequences for people. These are decisions taken by computer programs or systems, without a person (for example an employee of Meplushyou).

How long is the data retained?

Meplushyou does not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. When you request a price quote, but do not place an order after that, your data will be deleted after a maximum of one year of inactivity. If you do place an order, your data will be deleted or converted after 7 years so that they are no longer traceable to you as a person. Meplushyou must keep the information of your order (your invoice) for seven years, as obligated by the Dutch Tax Authorities (fiscal storage obligation).

Sharing personal data with third parties

Meplushyou will not sell your information to third parties and will only provide it if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process your data in our assignment, we conclude a processor agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Meplushyou remains responsible for these processing operations.

Meplushyou only uses technical and functional cookies and analytical cookies that do not infringe your privacy. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website. Meplushyou also wants to point out that you have the possibility to lodge a complaint with the national supervisor, the Personal Data Authority (in the Netherlands).
