Magnets!
I got a lot of questions about which magnets I use!
They're called "Neodymium magnets" and if you search for that term you should be able to find a local seller.
You can get also get them from Aliexpress or Amazon.
The bigger they are, the stronger they'll be! You can also stack them together to create a stronger pull.
These are a few sizes I often use (all disc-shaped):
- 10x3mm - smallest size, used for very small accessories (like my stroopwafels/poffertjes)
- 10x5mm - only 2mm thicker, but much stronger! perfect for slightly bigger or plush accessories. This is also the size I install into snoots.
- 20x3mm or 20x5mm - chonky boys, great for heavy lifting. Would recommend this size for large plush parts or even fursuit making (attaching ears/horns and such).
